As automatic winding machines are increasingly applied across various industries, they are becoming more and more popular among users. In addition to the main mechanisms and wire-feeding functions of winding machines, the auxiliary devices are also very important, especially the choice of tensioners. Today, let's talk about the types and applications of tensioners!
The tensioner release frame is mainly used to release the coil and generate tension in the coil. Depending on the application of the coil, tensioner release frames can be roughly divided into five types.

1. Precision electronic tensioner, mainly used for winding fine and ultra-fine metal wires.
2. Electromagnetic damping tensioner, this type is mainly used for processing round steel wires with a diameter of 0.1-0.5mm.
3. Wool felt friction tensioner, this type of tensioner has a wide range of applications and can be used in medium and relatively thick wire scenarios.
4. Electromagnetic powder clutch tensioner, which has a wide range of applications and relatively high control accuracy. It is commonly used in medium-thick wire and flat wire unwinding scenarios.
5. Pneumatic clamp tensioner, which uses the principle of automotive brakes to generate tension and then adjust it. The air pressure controls the magnitude of the tension. This type of tensioner can generate a relatively large tension and is mainly used for processing flat wires, copper strips, and copper foils.
Since each type of tensioner has its own advantages, we need to better utilize the performance of the winding machine. Usually, 2 to 3 types of tensioners are used simultaneously to ensure safety and the quality and efficiency of the winding.
