First, the common mechanical failure


1, transmission mechanism stagnation or wear


Phenomenon: handle rotation difficulties, gear / belt slippage, noise increase.


Reason: insufficient lubrication, gear wear, belt aging or improper tightening.


Solution:


Clean and add grease (e.g. lithium grease) regularly.


Replace worn gears or aging belt, adjust the belt tightness.

2, pressure mechanism failure


Phenomenon: The slot wedge is inserted insufficiently or too violently, resulting in damage to the stator slot.


Cause: Spring fatigue, air / hydraulic system leakage / oil leakage.


Solution:


Replace the spring that has failed elastically.


Check the seals and repair air/oil leaks.


 


3. Positioning deviation


Phenomenon: The slot wedge insertion position is deviated, resulting in an untidy stator winding.


Cause: Loose fixture, worn positioning pin, deformed guide rail.


Solution:


Tighten the fixture screws and replace the worn positioning pins.


Correct or replace the deformed guide rail.


 


4、Deformation or wear of guide parts


Phenomenon: The slot wedge insertion path is skewed, jamming frequently.


Reason: Long-term force leads to deformation of the guide bar / guide rail or surface wear.


Solution:


Use a micrometer to correct the straightness of the guide parts.


Replace the guide parts with high hardness material (e.g. chrome-plated steel) in case of serious wear.


 


5、Loose fasteners


Phenomenon: The whole equipment shakes when running, affecting the accuracy.


Reason: Screws and nuts are not regularly checked, and vibration causes loosening.


Solution:


Regularly check and tighten the screws of each connection part.


Use thread adhesive or spring washers in key parts to prevent loosening.


 

Second, preventive maintenance recommendations



1、Daily maintenance:


Clean the equipment after daily use, clear away iron filings and dust.


Lubricate the transmission parts (gears, chains) once a week.


 


2、Regular calibration:


Check the positioning fixture and guiding accuracy every month, and adjust if necessary.


Quarterly calibration of the pressure mechanism output force is up to standard.
