Injection-molded magnets and sintered magnets are both widely used magnetic materials in the market today. Some manufacturers may utilize both types. Their primary distinction lies in the manufacturing process. Due to these differing production methods, their magnetic properties, dimensional accuracy, and multi-pole magnetization naturally vary. Today, we will briefly share a comparison of the differences between injection-molded magnets and sintered magnets in terms of magnetic properties, reliability, and multi-pole magnetization.

Under identical volume conditions, sintered magnets exhibit significantly stronger magnetic force. Injection-molded magnets are more suitable for complex structures. For low-power motors, applications requiring high consistency, reliability, and complex structures—such as multi-pole encoding, Hall effect sensing, and sensor motors—prioritize injection-molded magnets. Conversely, high-power, high-torque motors, high-speed applications, and scenarios demanding ultimate efficiency and power density favor sintered magnets.
